Who I Am & How I Work
My Approach
Using an integrative Narrative Therapy approach, I work alongside you to explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may have felt overwhelming, caused suffering, or held you back. Together, we’ll separate you from the problems that have dominated your story, and rediscover the strengths, values, and identity that have been there all along.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity exploration, life transitions, or relationship challenges, I bring compassion, curiosity, and a deep commitment to helping you reconnect with a sense of comfort, hope, and possibility.
Starting therapy can feel scary—and that's completely normal. But the courage it takes to show up for yourself is often the first step toward meaningful change. You don’t have to do it alone. I'm here to walk with you, at your pace, toward the life you want to live.
My Journey
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over five years working in the tech world. While I enjoyed connecting with people, I often found the conversations surface-level and the relationships transactional. Over time, I felt burnt out and disconnected—from my purpose, my creativity, and the kind of authentic connection I craved in my work. Deep down, I knew I was meant for something different, something more meaningful.
In 2023, I followed that calling and began my Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy at Pepperdine University. During my training at the California Family Institute, I had the privilege of supporting individuals and families navigating a wide range of concerns: anxiety, trauma, substance misuse, chronic illness, depression, and relational struggles. These experiences shaped not only the way I practice, but also deepened my belief in the power of compassionate, client-centered care.
Shifting careers wasn’t easy, but it was one of the most fulfilling decisions I’ve ever made. I now feel aligned in my work and values, connected to my clients in ways that feel real and restorative. Being a therapist allows me to show up as my full self, and to walk alongside my clients as they reconnect with theirs.
I’m currently working under the supervision of Amber Kramer, MA, LMFT at Kramer Family Therapy, Inc., a space that supports both client care and continued clinical growth.
